Baptism

We believe that baptism is ordination to the Christian ministry. It is consecration or ordination to take part in the mission which is committed to the whole church.

Communion

For almost two thousand years not a Sunday has passed, perhaps not a day, that christians somewhere on this planet have not gathered at the table of their Lord.

Soul Food

 Small groups meet on Thursdays at 6:30 pm.  There are a variety of topics to choose from; one will surely speak to your heart and feed your soul.  For more information on small groups, leaders and subjects contact Teri Perry at First Presbyterian.  Child care is available.

Marriage

God did not create men and women to be isolated, but, in making us in his image, he made us in such a way that we can attain interpersonal unity of various sorts in all forms of human society. Interpersonal unity can be especially deep in the human family and also in our spiritual family, the church.

Membership

We joyfully welcome to the mission of the church all who confess Jesus Christ as savior and Lord and desire to serve Christ through the mission that we call First Presbyterian Church.

The Gospel is the news that Jesus Christ, the Righteous One, died for our sins and rose again, eternally triumphant over all his enemies, so that there is now no condemnation for those who believe, but only everlasting joy.
