First Presbyterian Church's focus extends beyond the walls of our building. Our purpose is to love God and love people for Jesus Christ. We aim to touch people’s lives in offices and parks and across backyard fences. For us, relationships are everything.

We believe that baptism is ordination to the Christian ministry. Through baptism, we are called to participate in God's mission to the world through the church. Through baptism we outwardly witness to the inward work of God who cleanses sin and calls into holiness.

There are three boards at First Presbyterian Church each providing a different function for the church at large.

The First Presbyterian Church office hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 AM until 4 PM. Please feel free to stop or call 724-652-7706. Offices are located in the education wing or the newer looking section of the church. For your convenience you may park in the old Jefferson Court parking lot and enter in the double doors closest to the parking lot.

The First Presbyterian Church library provides resources to stimulate a Christ-centered mindset for all ages. Visitors to the library will be able to access over 200 books, tapes, CDs and DVDs.
