Soul Food-

In most homes the dinner table sits at the center of the kitchen. Everything revolves around the table: conversations, prayers, listening to each other’s experiences, love and support. The kitchen provides sustenance for body and soul.

Jesus loved good food, fellowship and laughter. No wonder his enemies used this against him and called him a glutton.

But Jesus also knew the importance of feeding the soul. He told the people of his day, do not labor for the food that perishes, but for the food that endures to eternal life. John 6:27

He also said, I am the bread of life; whoever come to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst. John 6: 35
