Stewardship is holding something in trust for another. It is the willingness to be accountable to God, our Father, in service, rather than in control of the things and people around us.Stewardship springs from a set of values which recognizes that whether it is your time, your talent, or your treasures, everything is a gift from God!
Stewardship is about much more than money. Stewardship is reflected in a gracious attitude recognizing that all we are and have are blessings to share to the glory of God. Each of us are unique as are the gifts with which we've been blessed. Stewardship is embracing God's invitation to serve others. It is our opportunity to bless others because we are eternally blessed through the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. |
